On July 12, the fourth season of competition in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone will begin. It will bring not only a new map (Vondel Waterfront), but also a crossover that no one expected. Well, maybe not exactly, because the trailer presented during this year's Summer Game Fest 2023 contained a small hint (available below) of a possible crossover between Call of Duty universe and The Boys.

The rumors that were born at the time have finally been officially confirmed. In a material posted on Vought International's YouTube channel, Balck Noir, a character from Amazon's show explained - or at least tried to - the details of this unusual initiative.

It turns out that the crossover with Call of Duty will include Starlight, Homelander, the aforementioned Black Noir and a "hero whose name must not be mentioned". According to speculation this may be about Butcher, portrayed in Amazon's show by Karl Urban.

Since Black Noir is not one of overly talkative people, we received more information about the collaboration on the official blog of Call of Duty. It turns out that the heroes will be released gradually: Starlight (from July 12), Homelander (from July 16) and Black Noir (from July 20).

It is worth mentioning that Call of Duty is unlikely to be the only game series to feature The Boys characters. According to as yet unconfirmed reports, Mortal Kombat 1 will see Homelander.
