Upcoming Alone in the Dark, which will be a reboot of the acclaimed survival horror game series, will not take players long to complete - at least when it comes to a single playthrough.

The game's developers, Pieces Interactive, revealed in an interview with GamingBolt that each campaign should offer 6 to 10 hours of gameplay.

The entire storyline is to consist of two slightly different scenarios, within which players will take control of either Detective Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood.

In contrast to the original from 1992, the reboot will feature unique cutscenes, locations and sequences that will not be seen in the second character's campaign.

"We expect players to complete the title at least twice to fully experience the story."

Thus, based on the information provided by the devs, it is easy to calculate that getting to know the complete story in Alone in the Dark should take the players between 12 and 20 hours - depending on the style of play and difficulty level that players choose.

Alone in the Dark will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 25.. Let me remind you that a free prologue of the game is also available.
