Eternights

Eternights is an action game in which we observe the events from a third-person perspective (TPP). It is a debut project of Studio Sai team.

Plot

The action takes place in the near future. Earth's civilization is on the verge of extinction due to the mysterious phenomenon that transforms people into monsters desiring only violence and power.

The player takes on the role of a young man who is one of a handful of resilient people who have simultaneously gained supernatural powers. Together with those close to him, he will have to try to survive the apocalypse and discover its reasons.

Game mechanics

Eternights combines the action game mechanics with a dating sim elements. Players go on missions in which they have to fight hordes of monsters using an arcade combat system. Explored maps contain not only enemies and traps, but also valuable resources that help to improve the characters' combat abilities and weaponry and unlock new skills. During these expeditions we control only the main character, but we are supported by companions in arms controlled by artificial intelligence.

Time between missions we spend in the base. There we get to know the stories of NPCs and develop relationships with them, including romantic ones. Creating strong bonds allows us to unlock new abilities and spells useful during expeditions.

Each day has a limited number of hours, so the player can never do everything they want. All actions, including expeditions, dating or gathering resources take a lot of time and we have to make regular decisions about what has priority at the given moment.

Game modes

The game offers a single player mode only.

Technical aspects

Eternights features eye-catching 3D graphics made in a cartoon style. An additional attraction are numerous animated 2D cutscenes made in anime style.
