This October will be exceptionally hot. However, it's not about the temperature outside, but about game launches. Among others, we will see the debuts of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Forza Motorsport, Alan Wake 2 or Marvel's Spider-Man 2. October will also mark the release of the Polish soulslike game Lord of the Fallen.

And while the hype for Hexworks' production is considerable, some may still be unconvinced about the upcoming item. Perhaps their doubts will be dispelled by the gameplay video, recently released by IGN, showing the first 13 minutes of the game.. You can watch it below.

The initial phase of the video shows our hero traversing dark caves and crypts. At every step, all sorts of enemies await him. As we are dealing with the beginning of the game, they do not seem too demanding. The character defeats one after another without much trouble, using an axe and a bow. Only after leaving the underworld does the hero encounter much more dangerous enemies.

Finally, let us remind you that Hexworks revealed recently that the game will have two graphic modes on PS5 and XSX consoles: performance mode (60 fps and 1080p) and quality mode (30 fps and 1440p). Unfortunately, it is not known how the game will perform on the Series S, the weaker variant of the Xbox console.

Premiere of Lords of the Fallen will take place on October 13, this year.

An introvert by nature. Since childhood, he felt a closer connection to humanism than to the sciences. Instead of exercises in maths, he preferred shutting himself up in his world and inventing new stories of his favorite anime – Dragon Ball. After years of study came a time of stagnation, which he preferred to call "searching for purpose." Looking out for destiny during the 58th screening of his beloved Die Hard, he decided – like John McCLane – to fight for a better future. He found the avenue to do this in Gamepressure. Since he's still a freshman in the newsroom, he doesn't have a target subject he wants to focus on yet. So, you can expect news about farming simulators, or the impact of Johnny Depp's trial on the future of Pirates of the Caribbean. If you ever hear that playing console games and watching movies is futile – remember this story
