The major update for Diablo IV has pleased the players, but fans still have reason to complain. That's why Blizzard Entertainment quickly released a minor patch, and is already preparing another major update. Patch 1.1.2 will be discussed tomorrow, as announced by Adam "PezRadar" Fletcher, the studio's community manager (via Twitter).

Already on Thursday, the developer announced that the next major update is "very close." The patch will be released next week, as one would expect after such declaration. Finally, in the case of patch 1.1.1, the first changes were revealed on July 28 (the full list was provided on August 2), and the patch itself was released on August 8.

The developer did not leave many clues about the content of the upcoming patch. What we do know is that version 1.1.2 will mainly introduce bug fixes and finally remedy the Fury Against Fate quest. Other than that, we only have speculations (and requests or threats) from players.

  1. Some of the fans' suggestions fall under the typical requests made for any game: to buff skills and classes that are too weak (in their opinion) (mainly the sorcerer, who, according to some players, is still no match for the rest of the characters) or to undo weaknesses from the previous update (including Barber, though here opinions are divided).
  2. Presumably, players are also hoping for fixes to many of the bugs still present or those that appeared in update 1.1.1 - for example, the occasional "flashing" of descriptions when comparing items (via Reddit).

Eithery way, we'll learn the details tomorrow. The question is whether another patch with fixes will be enough to entice back the multitude of players who quickly abandoned the fourth Diablo?
