Detective Pikachu Returns Switch

Detective Pikachu Returns is the sequel to a detective adventure game starring Pokemon. The game once again stars Tim Goodman and the titular Pokemon detective, who must investigate many cases involving human and Pokemon inhabitants of Ryme City.

Mechanics

Just like in the first game, the playable character of Detective Pikachu Returns is Tim, traversing the streets of Ryme City, learning its secrets. He must talk to its residents (both humans and Pokemon) and search for clues needed to solve mysteries.

Technical aspects

Detective Pikachu Returns resembles the first installment, featuring colorful 3D visuals, full voice acting and artstyle reminiscent of the Pokemon anime. The game also introduces new monsters, which debuted in the main Pokemon series after the release of the first Detective Pikachu in 2018.
